Know how to correctly size and select ESPs for the well conditions. Identify the key components in an ESP completion and how these items function. Know the correct start-up procedure to use and what steps are taken to extend the life of the ESP. Learn about common causes of ESP failure which can lead to an expensive well workover and how to avoid them.

Operating Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs) is designed to improve the knowledge of petroleum engineers, well engineers, drilling engineers, completion engineers, well intervention engineers, production technologists, production supervisors and persons involved in the operation of ESPs in hydrocarbon and geothermal projects.


A Well Academy certificate of completion will be issued at the end of the course.
